Of all the capital cities in the world, Reykjavik sits farthest to the north. One of the most unique aspects of Reykjavik is the towering Perlan restaurant seated on top of a tower downtown. From the tables in this restaurant, you can enjoy 360 degree rotating views of the entire city.

Clubbing is the quintessential Reykjavik activity. Parties get started late, and you may be surprised at how a low–key, relaxed café can transform into a hip, late–night spot to hang out. During the summer, even the sun stays up late, and you’ll find that weekend nights can last well into the morning.
